Paul Beale is a professional Comic book and Pulp Novel writer from Saint John best known for his “Hidden Island” series in “Jungle Comics” from “Antartic Press.” Paul’s back stories have appeared in six issues of that title which is sold in comic shops all across North America. Paul started out in the mid nineteen eighties in Maritime based comics. By 2014 Paul [with his “All Comics Team”] was writing and editing for several “Red Leaf Comics” publications. This mostly online based company sells its comics on the drive thru comics site and Paul’s books sell in Maritime stores and at conventions as well. Paul sometimes draws for Red Leaf but is best known as a writer/ creator, editor. He also has written stories for long time collaborator and friend Jim Hachey for a variety of companies, mostly sold online but some sell in comic shops in England. Outside of Comic book work he has been published by “Airship27” a pulp novel company. This professional gig has afforded Paul the chance to write “Three Musketeer” stories in “The Musketeers New Adventures”. As a lifelong fan of the Musketeers this is a dream project for Paul as well as being his second professional paying job.
Sebastien Roy is a freelance comic book artist from Fredericton, NB best known for his cover and interior work on several “Red Leaf Comics” publications. Sebastien started in the business only a few years ago in Maritime based comics and began collaborating with Saint John’s very own prolific writer, Paul Beale, on various action-packed stories. Sebastien also recently completed a story with Paul for Antartic Press which has not yet been scheduled for release. Sebastien enjoys doing comic book cover recreations and commissioned art pieces, which have been sold across Canada, the US, and Europe.
