Nikki

Nikki is a Halifax based cosplayer who began dabbling in costuming as a wee youngling thanks to growing up in a costume shop. Once she attended her first convention 15 years ago she was hooked on cosplay and has been crafting her own costumes ever since. For her, Cosplay is not only about getting to express herself creatively, but it’s also about the joy of fully bringing those characters to life. The one and only cosplay contest she entered she won first place in Masters and then promptly retired to become a cosplay contest judge and travel to conventions as a cosplay guest hosting crafting workshops. She is an active cosplayer for community and charitable events in Nova Scotia, as well as a member of Maritime Heavy Armour. She also stars as host of the television series Finding Fantasy which dives into the lives of people who embrace their fantasy persona.
